Imaging Data Architecture

Research and workflow tools depend on understanding where information comes from, how it is represented, and who may use it. OraDigit explores architecture for those questions before data is moved or systems are connected.

Who this is for: Healthcare technology teams, imaging researchers, and organizations assessing data requirements and system boundaries.

Make data requirements explicit

A collaboration could investigate the following, after agreeing on scope, access boundaries, and evaluation criteria:

  • Map sources, ownership, provenance, retention, and access requirements using metadata descriptions or synthetic examples.
  • Evaluate where DICOM, FHIR, or HL7 may be relevant to a proposed interface, subject to compatibility review.
  • Design a prototype data model and acceptance criteria for a separately scoped research or software project.

Current scope and limits

This architecture direction does not establish a delivered hospital data platform, connected institutional systems, or a verified de-identification service. Security, interoperability, and privacy requirements need project-specific assessment.

Implementation requires project-specific scope, privacy and security review, and approval. No clinical validation, measured benefit, regulatory approval, or customer adoption is established here.

The Research & Technology hub separates these directions from OraDigit’s current demonstrations and research prototypes.

Start with a bounded conversation

Describe the workflow or research question, intended users, and constraints. We can discuss what needs investigation before any implementation commitment.
